Eᴄᴋᴀɴᴋᴀʀ is an active, individual, creative spiritual practice. A companion and road map for your journey home—to the heights of Self-Discovery and God-Discovery, and beyond.
The word Eckankar means Coworker with God– What all who follow this spiritual path aim to become. Eckankar's purpose has always been to take Soul, by Its own path back home to God via Self-Realization and God-Realization.
Known as the Path of Spiritual Freedom, Eckankar is the outer vehicle for the teachings of the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master. It gives knowledge of both the Light and Sound of Sugmad.
The Living ECK Master provides a formal study program with the advanced Spiritual Living Courses that qualify a Chela for ECK Initiations.
The modern Eckankar organization was founded by Sri Paul Twitchell in 1965. The current spiritual home is the Temple of ECK in Chanhassen, Minnesota, built by Sri Harold Klemp. Eckankar is not affiliated with any other religious group.
