The Mahanta, the Living ECK Master is the spiritual leader of Eckankar.
He makes the actual linkup between Soul and the returning wave of the Sound Current or ECK via the initiation.
Mahanta as the inner master is always with you. Sometimes he is seen as a Blue Light or Blue Star. The outer or physical presentation of the Mahanta is the Living ECK Master.
