A Spiritual Exercise can be in various forms. It usually involves chanting a Mantra and a visualization technique.
Students of Eckankar are advised to spend fifteen to twenty minutes each day in contemplation as a Spiritual Exercise.
It is best to perform the exercise at the same time and location, each day.
